Lance Hays is the youngest of three boys raised in the small town of Royse City, Texas, located outside of Dallas. He moved to Nacogdoches in 2000 to attend Stephen F. Austin State University on a football scholarship. While attending SFA he met Courtney Valentine and in the summer of 2002 they were married. Lance graduated with a B.A. in Speech Communication in 2004. Courtney and Lance are the proud parents of a talkative 5 year-old son, Jackson, who is obsessed with motor homes. In fact, when Jackson goes to bed at night he often says, "I need to get in my Foretravel" - referring to his bed. Jackson has a 2 year-old baby sister, Avery Lee. Lance has experience selling new Foretravel, Country Coach, and Fleetwood coaches.
